Marion Parke Trunk Show at The Shoe Hive - Sept 23 - 26

There's been a year of wearing slippers and sneakers. It's now time to get back to business and reclaim your love of shoes and heels! I'm giving you my picks from the Marion Parke Trunk Show that is now in place at The Shoe Hive in Old Town, Alexandria. I'm basing these selections on some effective criteria.

  • your black boots need an update

  • your haven't branched away from black shoes

  • you need one "all day" heel more than you need a lot of "2 hour" shoes.

With this in mind, take a look at what Marion Parke does best - style & comfort.

I love adding Chocolate to a neutral wardrobe. It elevates your story a bit. Try the Winona on - some clients have told me they are a little narrow in the toe box for their comfort level.

This may be my number one for Fall '21. It is the classic "pump" of booties for me. You can wear this style up under bootleg denim and also looks beautiful with dresses when you don't want to wear the lug sole edgier boot. Comfortable, Classic, and pretty timeless for most women.

This style made the cut for me as an outlier. If your boot game could use a power play, think about ivory as the intentional focus of an Ulla Johnson Dress or skirt. This also works with straight leg denim styles for a little eye candy.

If you are in need of a statement or a place to inject pattern (if you're not a print person, what about at your feet?), this pump is an ideal way to get some interest in your overall style.

There is also a higher version. It will keep you off the ground and elongate your appearance. Classic suede is a good choice. Another good reason to go with a block is if you're on uneven ground most of the time.

All politics aside, there's no doubt that our First Lady spends a lot of time in her heels. She chooses Marion Parke Must Haves for her long days. It's a classic and comes in 2 heel heights - the other being kitten heel.
